Summer small group classes move to Konepajanpuisto

The spring weekly classes are on summer break and will resume in August. There will be a limited number of classes in the summer and the classes will be held in the park shown in the picture. However, in case of rain or strong winds, the classes will be moved indoors to our studio, so you don’t have to worry about the weather.

We offer a variety of body care classes, from HIIT training that raises your heart rate to gentle stretching and Pilates that works on the foundations of your body.

You can participate in the summer classes for a cheaper one-time price of 15 €/class. Check out the schedule and book your place in the classes!

Class descriptions

The classes develop the body’s range of motion through controlled movement. The classes include active stretches, as well as dynamic exercises, where you progress from one movement to another. The exercises performed in the class seek the most diverse range of movement from the body and develop, in addition to mobility, motor skills and body control. For the majority of the movements, different levels of options are offered, from which you can choose the variations that suit you.

In restorative practice, we touch our body holistically through long asanas and breathing. We treat our body’s muscles, joints, fascia and internal organs. We support ourselves in long asanas by utilizing aids such as yoga blocks, bolsters, tennis balls, belts and blankets.

This class is a restorative and meditative mind-stopping exercise, which aims to calm the nervous system and release blockages in our body. The class focuses on giving the mind as little as possible to do. We focus on stopping in long holds and at the same time give the body and mind the opportunity to react to the pressure of trigger points and blockages.

The class is suitable for all levels and is especially for you who experience tension in your body, for example in the pelvis, chest, jaw or base of the skull area.

This dance-based group exercise class will get you sweating and the music will be refreshing! The speakers will play Latin sounds from salsa and cha cha cha to the more urban reggaeton and reparto. The classes don’t focus on choreography, but on the good vibes and fun that dancing brings. At the same time, you’ll learn the basic steps of different styles!

Yin yoga is a meditative and gentle exercise for the body and mind, which aims to free oneself from unnecessary tension through yoga postures and one’s own breathing. During the class, one moves calmly from one posture to another and the entire exercise is done on the floor, either lying down or sitting. Yoga postures, or asanas, are held for 2-5 minutes. Yoga aids can be used during the classes to support the asanas.

Pilates is a gentle exercise that focuses on body control, strengthening deep muscles, and increasing mobility. Breathing is linked to the movements during classes, which improves concentration and calms the mind.

This class is a versatile yoga class in the best yoga tradition. During the class, breathing exercises, a short meditation, stretching and strengthening muscles in yoga poses and relaxation are done. The goal of the class is to stretch and strengthen muscles, improve mobility and body control, practice body awareness and presence skills, support alertness regulation and stress recovery. All bodies and people with different mobility levels are welcome. We will find variations that suit you if necessary!

Mama Pilates is a Pilates class for pregnant and postpartum mothers that supports body control, strengthens the core, and promotes recovery. It focuses on core and pelvic floor muscles, as well as mobility in a safe and gentle way.

You can come to the classes at any stage of your pregnancy and after giving birth, once you have received permission to start moving.

In Vinyasa, our conscious breath plays a central role in the practice. Flow is created when we connect asanas and movement with our breath. This dynamic practice increases space and warmth in our bodies while powerful sequences of movements increase strength and mobility, as well as increasing the balance of the body-mind connection. Let’s play and be creative on the mat!

Previous experience with Vinyasa Flow practice is recommended, but not required.

The body care class consists of active and dynamic mobility exercises, balance, light activation exercises for the supporting muscles and basic stretching. The class ends with a short final relaxation, which often uses breathing exercises.
